Gone Tonight 02:51
I know that look that's in your eye. I've seen that look before a thousand times. That look that says it's time, it's time to say goodbye. But this time 'round don't stop and look behind, 'cause I'm gone tonight. (I'm gone tonight, I'm gone tonight) I'm gone tonight. Go ahead and grab your bag, it's right there on the floor. Don't need to sit and hear your insults anymore. I know it's crazy, but honey you know it's true. I just can't live with you so I'm gone, I'm gone tonight. (I'm gone tonight, I'm gone tonight) I'm gone tonight. Don't be dramatic, that's not why you called. The cards, the clothes, the ring, you can keep it all. No, I don't think we'll be back together this fall. No, girl, this time I'm not kidding - I'm not at all. I know it's crazy, but honey you know it's true. I just can't live with you so I'm gone, I'm gone tonight. (I'm gone tonight, I'm gone tonight) I'm gone tonight.

Love Song 03:03
This is a love song I wrote for you. But don't flatter yourself, cause it goes out to all the girls I knew that gave me heartache, that made me blue, that made me sit at home singing sad love songs instead of hanging out with the crew and seeing my friends to grab a slice or two. You left me in the cold for one more rum and coke, and all the other shit you put me through. This is a love song. I spent some long nights pining in my room, going on and on 'bout what went wrong and how to make it up to you and impress your friends, as if I had to prove myself. But that's all past, they can kiss my ass. Come to think of it, so can you. This is a love song. These are the words I wrote to try and find a way to cope. This is a love song. These are the words I sing of the lingering feeling I once felt for you. Don't think I'm clueless to how it all went down. How you'd bat your eyes through all the lies, yeah, just to keep me hanging around. But that's all over. I won't get fooled again. So to all the broads that broke my heart, know it's your loss in the end. This is a love song.

I know he’s not the kind, the kind that settles down And I know he finds it hard to keep his feet on the ground He goes drinking every night down the pub with all his mates Getting into fight’s staying out till late But when he comes home rolling drunk Don’t get the 'ump, just remember Even tough guys need someone some times He don’t where Armani suits or shirts pressed nice and clean He wears Doctor Martens boots and dirty Levi jeans Your friend’s all think he’s gross and your parents hate his guts And once he gave you a dose but the tablets cleared it up They all say he’s no good, but he’s misunderstood, and remember Even tough guys need someone some times He drives his car to fast he don’t remember what you said His promises don’t last and he’s lousy in bed And when you’re at a party and he’s puking in the bin And you’re try to remember what you ever saw in him So don’t go into one, he’s only having fun, and remember Even tough guys need someone some times

Four years, the high hopes of our youth, so much to prove. Four years, we lived, we loved, we learned that some dreams never do come true. Those days are over, but the memory lingers on. Pain and promise left behind remind me of how everything went wrong. You walked away, I walked alone. I'll find my own road, I'll make it home. You walked away, I walked alone. You said "Goodbye." I said, "So long." A lot's been said. Setback and lies won't stop me. Full speed ahead. Gotta keep on moving, moving on. You walked away, I walked alone. I'll find my own road, I'll make it home. You walked away, I walked alone. You said "Goodbye." I said, "So long." (Don't stop, don't stop.) Left out to dry, abandoned. (Don't stop, don't stop.) I lost the battle, but I won the war. True grit's what matters, and I got a hell of a lot more. You walked away, I walked alone.

This I Know 04:57
So here I am at 25. A quarter century's passed me by. I lie awake, night after night. My mind's a maze, my eyes are open wide. Feeling like a man on trial for not living in denial of all I see, perverse and vile; for not jumping in line, rank and file. Empty stares of vacant minds - self obsessed, distracted, high on the fame and failure of other people's lives. Does anyone seek truth? Does anyone ask why? Convince myself that I am still alive. Combat the death I feel inside. Come up for air to midnight skies, but I can't drown myself in what I despise. This I know, follow your heart, protect your soul. The rest can go to hell. Don't let go, don't let them drag you down that hole. I know it all too well... all too well. Yes, I'm mad, tell me why aren't you? Deep inside, I know you see it too. And, yet, you look away, yeah, you'd rather choose ignorance, than understand the truth. Well I can't bite, no I must refuse to settle down and substitute an easy ride, a lie, a ruse, for real life and all its black and blues. So here I lie again, plagued by misanthropic thoughts. Alone, but knowing I'm just not the kind, kind that gives up. This I know, follow your heart, protect your soul. The rest can go to hell. Don't let go, don't let them drag you down that hole. I know it all too well... all too well.

about

I grew up on Rock N Roll, with childhood dreams of being the next Jerry Lee Lewis. When I was 11, I discovered early Punk Rock, which was basically my favorite 50's music with a faster tempo. These songs are a small mix of lyrics and melodies I've been writing since I was a kid.
